  • Civitech Group to develop commerical project in Greater Noida
    Noida-based real estate developer Civitech Group has plans to develop a commercial project in Sector 10, Greater Noida West. The firm has already acquired land through a government auction for the project and plans to invest Rs 500 crore in development.

    The proposed project will include hospitality, high-street retail, and studio residences under a single master plan. According to ET, the firm is developing a residential project, Civitech Strings, in Sector 12, Greater Noida West, comprising 770 units across 18,000 sq metres, and a commercial project, Civitech Santoni, in Sector 16B, Greater Noida, spread across about 12 lakh sq ft on a 3.7-acre land parcel.
  • Sumadhura to invest Rs 17,000 crore in real estate projects in Bengaluru
    Bengaluru-based real estate developer Sumadhura Group plans to invest Rs 17,000 crore in real estate projects by 2030. The company plans to develop 45 million sq ft of space across the residential, commercial and warehousing segments.

    In the residential segment, the company plans to develop 35 million sq ft across its core markets, with an estimated gross development value (GDV) of Rs 38,000 crore. The project pipeline will be spread across Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai.

    The company also plans to develop 4.2 million sq ft of Grade-A office space, with potential annual rental income of Rs 700 crore. In the warehousing segment, it plans to develop 6 million sq ft, with potential annual rental income of Rs 225 crore.

    Sumadhura Group also plans to enter the luxury villas segment and expand its land bank in high-growth micro-markets.
  • Milky Mist Dairy Foods comissions new facility in Perundurai
    Tamil Nadu-based dairy products maker Milky Mist Dairy Foods has commissioned a new Skyr and Greek yogurt manufacturing facility at its integrated plant in Perundurai. The company has invested Rs 40 crore in the project, which uses ultrafiltration technology and has a processing capacity of up to 150 tonnes per day.

    The investment is part of Milky Mist’s broader expansion and modernisation programme at Perundurai. It is aimed at increasing the production of Skyr and Greek yogurt while supporting the development of new high-protein dairy products.
  • IHC and Adani Group sign agreement to invest Rs 2.1 trilion in Odisha
    UAE-based investment holding company International Holding Company (IHC) has signed an initial agreement with multinational business firm, Adani Group, to invest 2.1 trillion to develop 14 projects in the state of Odisha.

    According to the firm, the project portfolio includes metal downstream industries, slurry pipelines, critical minerals and rare earths, chemicals and petrochemical derivatives, renewable energy equipment, health care, industrial and sports infrastructure, tourism, and skills development.  IHC Group, through 2PointZero, and Adani Enterprises Limited (AEL) signed an initial pact with the Indian state of Odisha for an integrated greenfield aluminium project to be developed in two phases, with an investment of USD 11.5 million.  
  • Ultraviolette to develop new EV making facility in Hosur
    Bengaluru-based Electric two-wheeler (EV) maker Ultraviolette has plans to set up a new manufacturing facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. According to the firm, the new facility, named BIGGA (Big Global Ambition) Factory, will have an annual production capacity of 250,000 vehicles in phases and will produce the Tesseract electric scooter and future models. The facility will be designed to scale production to 500,000 vehicles annually as demand grows.
