  • Orders worth Rs Rs 2,350 crores bagged by Transrail Lighting
    Construction engineering company, Transrail Lighting Ltd, has bagged orders worth Rs 2,350 crores. The EPC orders primarily are from the domestic Transmission & Distribution (T&D) segment. Order under the T&D includes the construction of 765 kV transmission lines. The firm has also bagged a civil order and select wins in poles & lighting. The firm also emerged as the lowest bidder for projects worth over Rs 800 crore.
  • Agra Metro: UPMRCL floats tender for work related to line 2
    Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited (UPMRCL) has floated a tender inviting bids for the work related to the Agra Metro. The tender is floated for undertaking civil, PEB, and E&M works for the construction of a depot cum workshop at Mall Road for the Agra Cantt–Kalindi Vihar Corridor-2. As per the tender, the estimated cost of work is Rs 177.58 Crores, and the period of completion of the work is 18 months.
  • KLA plans to develop R&D campus in Chennai, to invest Rs 3,600 crores
    US-based semiconductor firm KLA plans to set up a global research and development (R&D) and innovation campus in Chennai. The firm has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadu government to invest around Rs 3,600 crores in the project. Spread over 12 acres, the project is envisioned as KLA’s global R&D and innovation hub, with potential built-up capacity of up to 1.5 million square feet over time. 
  • BPCL plans to develop petrochemical park in Madhya Pradesh
    Government-owned Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd (BPCL) has plans to develop a petrochemical park alongside its Bina refinery in Madhya Pradesh. As per The Economic Times, the firm is in talks with Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC) for the project. BPCL is expanding its Bina refinery and integrating a petrochemical complex with an aim to supply ethylene to downstream units via pipelines. The expansion is expected by May 2028.
  • RJ Corp and Inox Green come together to invest Rs 1,700 crores in Africa
    Clean Energy firm Inox Clean Energy has formed a joint venture (JV) with diversified business conglomerate RJ Corp. The JV will invest around Rs 1,400 crores in Africa for renewable energy generation projects.  The aim is to develop utility-scale solar projects, and in phase one,  570 MW of power capacity would be developed. The goal is to reach 2.5 GW by FY29.
