The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is looking to take a major step to decongest the national capital city of Delhi. Minister of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH) Nitin Gadkari outlined the status of 10 upcoming projects covering 186 km for Rs 34,800 crore. These projects will be aimed at diverting freight traffic and providing connectivity to key centres in the region, such as the Noida International Airport. There are 134 locations or stretches identified as congestion points in the city. 

Bengaluru-based real estate developer Puravankara Limited has secured a 14.57-acre land parcel located in Mandur, Budigere, in Bengaluru. Out of the total 14.57 acres, 7.92 acres are part of a joint development agreement (JDA), while Puravankara has purchased 6.65 acres. It is located in the rapidly evolving eastern corridor of Bengaluru near the thriving Whitefield-Kadugodi micro-market. The gross development value of secured land is around Rs. 2,300 crore.

Office Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT), the Knowledge Realty Trust (KRT), plans to invest Rs 700 crore over the next 3 years in Bengaluru. KRT is looking to develop 1.4 lakh sq ft of office space in the city as part of its expansion plan.

Member of Parliament (MP) from Visakhapatnam, Mathukumilli Bharat, has informed that the Andhra Pradesh government is planning to inaugurate the International Airport at Bhogapuram in July. The plan is to get the inauguration done by PM Modi on the 5th of July, as the preparations are progressing at a good pace. MP stated that the commencement of flight operations immediately after the airport inauguration is a natural progression.  Scoot Airlines has informed of the commencement of international services from Bhogapuram Airport starting July 8th.

Construction engineering firm PNC Infratech has bagged orders worth Rs 3,483 crores from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI).  The scope of work in the first project involves the construction of a 43-km four-lane highway from Barabanki to Mustafabad on NH-927 in Uttar Pradesh. While the second project involves the construction of a four-lane highway from Mustafabad to Biswariya on NH-927 in Uttar Pradesh The period of completion of the work is 24 months, which is 2 years.
