  • L&T's hydrocarbon arm bags order worth around Rs 15,000 crore
    Multinational firm L&T's hydrocarbon business (onshore division) has bagged an ultra-mega order from West Asia (country and client not publicly disclosed yet). The firm has signed an agreement for a gas compression project in West Asia, estimated to cost around Rs 15,000 crore.

    The EPC project would involve state-of-the-art gas compression plants featuring essential gas inlet facilities, gas compression systems, and modules for handling both condensate and produced water. Further, the firm's Power Transmission & Distribution arm will step in to execute the construction of two 230 kV extra-high-voltage substations.
  • Suzlon Group to invest around Rs 10,000 crore in Andhra Pradesh
    Pune-based renewable energy firm Suzlon Group plans to invest Rs 10,000 crore in Andhra Pradesh as part of its expansion plans. The investment will cover the development of 1,325 MW of new wind projects in the Rayadurg constituency of Anantapur.

    The firm already operates a blade manufacturing facility in the region and has so far invested around Rs 12,000 crore in the state. Suzlon is now collaborating on a large-scale green skills development programme aimed at preparing young professionals for careers in the renewable energy sector.
  • Ceigall India's JV with Sushee Infra bags order worth over Rs 704 crore from Arunachal Pradesh
    The joint venture (JV) of Ceigall India (74% stake) and Sushee Infra & Mining (26% stake) has bagged an EPC order worth Rs 704.70 crore from the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH).

    This order is for road construction work covering the Lada-Sarli section of NH-913 in Arunachal Pradesh. According to the firm, the period of completion of the work is 48 months (4 years).
  • Ganga riverfront corridor: Bihar government plans project worth Rs 70,000 crore
    The state government of Bihar is planning to extend the existing JP Ganga Path into a massive 126-km riverfront corridor that reaches Koilwar on the Sone River. This 21-km stretch of the JP Ganga Path is popularly called the city's Marine Drive.

    According to ET updates, the project is estimated to cost Rs 70,000 crore, with the state government planning to fund Rs 20,000 crore directly from its budget, while the remaining Rs 50,000 crore is slated to be raised through private-sector investments.
  • 91,314 sq ft office space leased by PepsiCo in Hyderabad
    Multinational food and beverage corporation PepsiCo India has leased 91,314 sq ft of office space in Hyderabad. The leased space covers the sixth and seventh floors of Laxmi Infobahn Tower 4 in Kokapet. The leased space will host a global capability centre (GCC) for PepsiCo India Capability Center LLP.

    According to the firm, the space is leased for 5 years with a monthly rental of nearly Rs 53 lakh per month and a 5% annual rent escalation, taking the total rent outgo to Rs 35 crore over the five-year lease period.
