  • Gujarat to get greenfield shipbuilding and repair cluster
    The Ministry of Ports, Shipping, and Waterways (MoPSW) has given its approval for two large-scale initiatives under the Shipbuilding Development Scheme (SbDS) in Gujarat. These projects involve the development of a Greenfield shipbuilding cluster in Porbandar and a new ship repair facility at Vadinar, along the western coastline of India. Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) called the National Shipbuilding and Heavy Industries Park–Gujarat (NSHIP-Gujarat) is developing a project in Porbandar to transform Porbandar into a major centre for the construction of large commercial ships. Vadinar project, estimated to cost Rs 1,570 crore, is being developed through a partnership between Cochin Shipyard Ltd. (CSL) and the Deendayal Port Authority (DPA). The project will include a 650-metre jetty, two large floating dry docks, and comprehensive workshops, making it one of India’s biggest repair sites for commercial and possibly defence vessels.
  • Dilip buildcon bags new order worth over Rs 160 crore in Odisha
    Engineering and construction firm Dilip Buildcon Limited has emerged as the lowest bidder (L-one bidder) for  Bridge & Construction Corporation Limited's EPC project in Odisha. The project is worth Rs 160.20 crore. The scope of work involves the development of a 6-lane diversion road on the Duduka-Gopalpur-Toparia stretch in Sundargarh district. As per the tender, the period of execution of the work is 18 months.
  • ST Telemedia launches new data centre in Jaipur
    Data Centre Colocation services provider, ST Telemedia Global Data Centres (India), has inaugurated a new data centre in Jaipur. The firm launched STT Jaipur 1, an artificial intelligence (AI)-ready data center. Spread over 95,300 sq. ft., the project is strategically located in the RIICO Industrial Area on Tonk Road and aims to support digital growth and enable low-latency connectivity for North India. The project will provide up to 6 megawatt (MW) of critical IT load capacity and offer carrier-neutral connectivity
  • AWS performs groundbreaking for data centre in Hyderabad
    Leading global cloud computing firm Amazon Web Services (AWS) has performed the groundbreaking ceremony of its new data centre in Hyderabad. Located in Bharat Future City, the project is part of a recently announced Rs 48 billion investment in India by AWS. Out of this, $21 billion will be directed towards cloud and AI infrastructure between 2026 and 2030.
  • 3.9 lakh sq. ft office space leased by IndiQube Spaces in Noida
    Office space solutions provider IndiQube Spaces has leased around 3.9 lakh sq. ft space in Noida. The space is leased in Sector 142, Noida, located on the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway. The 14-floor building is the firm's largest centre in the National Capital Region (NCR) and is strategically placed in proximity to the Noida International Airport, urban centres of Noida, Greater Noida, Delhi, and Ghaziabad.
