  • Lodha Developers bags development rights for land parcel in Mumbai
    Real estate developer Lodha Developers has bagged development rights for a prime 4.3-acre land parcel at Mumbai's Malabar Hill. As per The Economic Times, the land parcel houses six bungalows and other structures with an estimated development potential of nearly Rs 2,800 crore. The transaction involves an upfront payment along with a mix of monetary and non-monetary consideration to the land-owning trust after redevelopment.
  • Uttar Pradesh Government signs MoUs worth Rs 6.650 crores for township and data centres
    The Government of Uttar Pradesh has signed Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) worth Rs 6,650 crore with Universal Success Group. This comes as the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath begin his visit to Singapore and Japan. The MoUs cover Rs 3,500-crore international theme-based township near Jewar, a Rs 2,500-crore hyperscale data centre park in Greater Noida, and a Rs 650-crore logistics park on Kanpur-Lucknow highway. As per the updates, the proposed township will be developed on 100 acres allotted by the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA).
  • L&T bags order for LIGO facility in Hingoli
    Multinational business group Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has bagged an order from the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE). The order is for the development of a Laser Interferometer Gravitational Wave Observatory (LIGO) at Aundha in Hingoli district, in Maharashtra. As per the firm's classification, the order ranges from Rs 1,000 to Rs 2,500 crore and is classified as a significant order. The scope of work involves engineering, procurement, and construction of vibration-sensitive specialised high-precision civil infrastructure. Further, the firm will manufacture and install an ultra-high vacuum compatible 8 km beam tube and critical equipment for vacuum infrastructure.
  • Odisha Government approves projects worth over Rs 44,000 crores
    The state government of Odisha has approved 10 major industrial projects with an investment potential of Rs 44,200 crores. This includes the business major Adani Group's pumped storage hydropower plant. Among other projects, approval was granted to a key semiconductor chip unit, along with projects spanning sectors such as rare earth manufacturing, cement, automobile and auto-components, telecom infrastructure, and renewable energy.
  • BKT plans epxansion, to invest Rs 3,500 crores
    The leading manufacturer of off-highway tyres has plans to expand the domestic consumer tyre market. As a part of the plan, the firm will invest Rs 3,500 crore to support capacity expansion and advanced R&D capabilities, among others. As per The Economic Times, under its Vision 2030, BKT aims to grow overall revenue to approximately Rs 23,000 crore by FY30, with a projected revenue mix of around 70 per cent from Off-Highway tyres, around 10 per cent from third-party carbon black sale,s and the remaining around 20 per cent from On-Highway tyre categories.
