BHEL bags order worth Rs 8000 crore
Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. (BHEL) has bagged an order worth Rs 8,000 crore from Maharashtra State Power Generation Company Ltd (Mahagenco). The firm has received the Letter of Award (LoA) for the project that involves a 2×660 MW BTG package of the Koradi Thermal Power Station.
Work involves the supply of equipment, erection and commissioning, and civil works. As per updates, the project will be completed by 52 and 58 months from the date of LoA for Unit-11 & Unit-12.
Ghaziabad to get Rs 3.7 billion planned for infrastructure development
The Ghaziabad Municipal Corporation (GMC) has chalked out a Rs 3.77 billion work plan for infrastructure development. Out of the total investment, Rs 1.85 billion has been allocated for upgrading Indirapuram. Rs 710 million are marked for air quality improvement.
Among other things, Rs 500 million are allocated for each drainage and road, Rs 200 million for water supply, and Rs 250 million for sewer lines. GMC has already received Rs 1.1 billion from GDA and initiated tenders accordingly.
68,000 Sq ft space leased by Protean eGov in Mumbai
Digital public infrastructure and e-governance solutions provider Protean eGov Technologies Ltd. has leased a 68,021 sq ft office in Mumbai’s Lower Parel for 5 years. The space is picked up at the office in the commercial Tower One International for a rent of Rs 185 per sq ft a month.
Tvasta to develop 3D printed villa in Pune
3D Manufacturing startup Tvasta has developed the country’s first 3-D printed villa in Pune. Spread over 2,200 sq. ft the villa is being built for Godrej Eden Estates symbolizing a major advancement in economical, sustainable, and efficient construction practices.
As per updates, the villa has been built using a concrete 3-D printer.
MHADA plans to redevelop 13,000 cessed buildings in Mumbai
Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) has unveiled its plans to undertake redevelopment of around 13,000 cessed buildings in South Mumbai. As per updates structural audit of 1,000 buildings will be conducted by March-end this year.
MHADA said the aim is to ensure safety and timely redevelopment to improve living conditions for residents.
SmartHomes and Marriott Hotels join hands to launch a 5-star hotel in Dholera
Real estate developer SmartHomes and Marriott Hotels and the world’s largest hotel chain Marriott Hotels have joined hands to launch the first-ever 5-star hotel in Dholera, Gujarat. The hotel, named Courtyard by Marriott, would comprise 200 elegant rooms.
As per the update, the project offers exquisitely designed rooms with amenities that reflect Marriott’s commitment to luxury and comfort.
Fashion TV and Merlin Group join hands to develop a luxury residential project in Kolkata
Real estate developer Merlin Group and global lifestyle network Fashion TV (FTV) have joined hands to develop Kolkata’s first branded luxury residential project under F Residences. The project would take an investment of Rs 900 crore and aims to introduce global luxury standards to the city with 880 units, featuring upscale amenities.
In the partnership, Fashion TV will offer technical expertise.
