  • Zahirabad Industrial smart city project: Telangana minister says work completion by 2028
    IT and Industries Minister of the Government of Telangana, D Sridhar Babu, has informed that the Zahirabad Industrial Smart City project is expected to be completed by March 2028. Spread over 3,245 acres, the project is expected to attract investments worth Rs 15,000 crore.

    The project has been planned as a major industrial and manufacturing hub for Telangana, with the state government owning a 51% stake in the project through land contribution. The Centre is extending financial support for the development of the industrial corridor.
  • Puravankara group signs joint development agreement for land parcel in Bengaluru
    Bengaluru-based real estate developer Puravankara Group has signed a joint development agreement (JDA) for a 7.83-acre land parcel in southeast Bengaluru. The firm will develop a residential project with a saleable area of about 0.89 million sq ft and an estimated gross development value (GDV) of Rs 1,100 crore.

    Earlier in June, the firm entered into a JDA for a 6.4-acre land parcel in Sarjapur with Rs 1,000 crore GDV potential and 0.80 million sq ft saleable area.
  • CNH Industrial to set up tractor manufacturing facility in Greater Noida
    UK-based agricultural machinery maker CNH Industrial's Indian arm has plans to invest around Rs 2,000 crore in India by 2030. The firm is looking to set up a tractor plant near Greater Noida in Uttar Pradesh. 

    The new plant will require an investment of around Rs 1,000 crore and will be located close to its existing Greater Noida facility at Yamuna Expressway. It is looking to double its tractor manufacturing capacity from 70,000 units to 1.4 lakh units. The other Rs 1,000 crore will go towards R&D and product development for both domestic and export markets.
  • Godrej Industries plans to invest Rs 20,000 crore in Haryana
    Multinational firm Godrej Industries has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Haryana Government to invest Rs 20,000 crore in the state. According to the firm, Godrej Properties Ltd (GPL) will be a key driver of the investment plans.

    Godrej currently has 18 projects across Gurugram, Sonipat, Faridabad, Panipat and Kurukshetra and is expected to expand with future projects, creating more jobs in the state.
  • L&T's hydrocarbon arm bags order worth around Rs 15,000 crore
    Multinational firm L&T's hydrocarbon business (onshore division) has bagged an ultra-mega order from West Asia (country and client not publicly disclosed yet). The firm has signed an agreement for a gas compression project in West Asia, estimated to cost around Rs 15,000 crore.

    The EPC project would involve state-of-the-art gas compression plants featuring essential gas inlet facilities, gas compression systems, and modules for handling both condensate and produced water. Further, the firm's Power Transmission & Distribution arm will step in to execute the construction of two 230 kV extra-high-voltage substations.
