Ashoka Buildcon bags order worth Rs 569 crore for work in Maharashtra

Construction engineering company Ashoka Buildcon has bagged an order Rs 568.86-crore contract from Central Railway for a gauge conversion project between Pachora and Jamner in Maharashtra. The firm has received the letter of acceptance (LoA) for the EPC project. The work involves constructing earthworks, major and minor bridges, road under-bridges (RUBs), permanent way work, and associated civil infrastructure. The project covers a 53.3-km stretch, excluding the Pachora yard and any road over-bridge components. As per the tender, the order is to be executed over 913 days.
13,300 acres land to be acquired by YEIDA near Noida International Airport

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has plans to acquire 13,300 acres of agricultural land for its development project near the Noida International Airport along the Yamuna Expressway. The authority has earmarked Rs 5,000 crore to directly purchase land from farmers who are willing to part with their land for the development. On the acquired land, certain key projects would be developed, one of which is a logistics hub spread over 250 acres, featuring six warehouses and 12 stores.
HoABL plans investment worth Rs 2,500 crore to launch 3 vertical projects in Mumbai

Real estate firm The House of Abhinandan Lodha (HoABL) plans to invest Rs 2,500 crore to enter the Mumbai real estate market. The firm plans three vertical development projects, including an American Culture Center in Marine Lines, a development overlooking Chowpatty Beach, and a Joint Development Agreement (JDA) with Mittal Builders in Naigaon. The projects have a collective development potential of 3.1 million sq. ft., and are expected to generate a revenue of Rs 3,500 crore. As per the firm, the projects would be funded through internal accruals and debt for working capital and pre-sales.
UPEIDA plans 3 logistics clusters, seeks investment worth Rs 4.86 billion

The Uttar Pradesh Expressways Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA) has plans to develop 3 integrated manufacturing and logistics clusters across the state. UPEIDA has sent a proposal for 344 hectares of land earmarked for industrial use—133 hectares in Unnao, 123 hectares in Agra, and 88 hectares in Aligarh. The authority has requested Rs 4.86 billion from the industries department for the projects. As per the updates, land acquisition in Barauli Ahir block of Agra has already been completed, and allotments to investors have begun.
