  • YEIDA plans to develop logistics hub near Noida International Airport
    The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has plans to develop a logistics and warehousing hub near the Noida International Airport. The proposed project to be developed at Sector-8F would facilitate easy storage and transportation of goods. YEIDA  is also advancing plans for a major multimodal logistics park (MMLP) at Tappal Bajna, about 10 km from the Noida airport.
  • Hinduja Group plans to invest Rs 7, 500 crore in Tamil Nadu
    Global conglomerate Hinduja Group has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadu government to invest Rs 7,500 crore in the state's electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem. The firm would invest in businesses involving cell and battery manufacturing for electric vehicles, BESS (Battery Energy Storage System), and EV charging stations. 
  • Chuzhou Lishen bags order from ACME solar
    ACME Solar Holdings informed of placing an order for 2 GWh of Battery Energy Storage System (BESS). The order is given to Chuzhou Lishen New Energy Technology Co., Ltd through POSCO International Corporation and China FAW Group Import and Export Co., Ltd. As per the updates, the order will be delivered in phases over the next 6 to 10 months. The BESS would be deployed across ACME Solar’s FDRE (Firm & Dispatchable Renewable Energy) and standalone BESS projects, scheduled for commissioning over the next 12 to 18 months.

  • Godavari Drinking Water Scheme: Telangana CM to lay foundation for Rs 7,300 crore project
    The chief minister of Telangana, A Revanth Reddy, would lay the foundation stone for the Godavari Drinking Water Scheme (GDWS) Phases II and III today. This project is estimated to cost Rs 7,360 crore and aims at filling Osmansagar and Himayatsagar with Godavari water as part of the Musi Riverfront Development Project. Work under the project would be taken in Hybrid Annuity Mode (HAM), with the state government bearing 40% of the cost and the remaining 60% to be mobilised by the executing agency. The plan is to complete the work in 2 years.
