NTT DATA plans to set AI data center cluster in Hyderabad
Information technology firm NTT DATA has signed a tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Telangana government and Neysa Networks to establish an AI Data Center Cluster in Hyderabad. The project is expected to take an investment of Rs 10,500 crore.
The new facility would feature a 400 MW data center cluster, designed to host the country’s most powerful AI supercomputing infrastructure with 25,000 GPUs. As per updates project will be powered through a mix of grid and renewable energy up to 500 MW, adopt cutting-edge cooling technologies like liquid immersion, and adhere to the highest ESG standards.
Pacific Group plans to develop a mall and a hotel in Jaipur
Real estate development firm Pacific Group has plans to develop a 15 lakh square foot shopping mall and a hotel in Jaipur to expand its business. The firm would develop a 130-room hotel in the capital of Rajasthan, aiming to capitalize on the rising demand for premium retail spaces in tier-II cities.
As per the firm mall is expected to be operational by the end of 2026, with the hotel opening in 2027. Pacific Group has 9 shopping malls, comprising more than 30 lakh sq ft of retail space, in Delhi, Ghaziabad, Faridabad, and Dehradun.
Arete Group to develop industrial park, plans investment worth Rs 1,200 crore
Construction and development firm Arete Group to invest Rs 1,200 crore for the development of an industrial park. The investment would go towards Phase 2 of the Payal Industrial Park (PIP) in Dahej, Gujarat, expanding across 850 acres.
Phase 1 attracted over Rs 12,000 crore in capital investment. Phase 2 will focus on specialty chemicals, green energy, and advanced materials.
Salboni Thermal Power Plant: West Bengal CM lays foundation of the project
The Chief Minister of West Bengal laid the foundation for a 1,600 MW ultra-supercritical thermal power plant of JSW Energy in Salboni. As per the updates, the project would be developed with an investment of Rs 16,000 crore.
It would have two units of 800 MW. The first unit is scheduled to be commissioned in 42 months, the second is expected to go operational in 48 months.
GDA plans to acquire land for the township worth Rs 2,500 crore
Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) has plans to invest Rs 2,500 crore to acquire 521 hectares of land for a new township. The aim is to boost real estate development following the Delhi-Meerut RRTS launch.
As per GDA, it seeks to replicate Indirapuram’s success, offering buyers affordable property options.
Vardhman Special to set up a new greenfield plant in Punjab
Vardhman Group firm, Vardhman Special Steels Limited, has plans to develop a new Greenfield steel plant in the state of Punjab. As per the firm, the new plant would have a planned billet production capacity of 5,00,000 MT per annum.
The firm is likely to incur a capex of nearly Rs 2,000 crore for the project and will be funded through a mix of internal accruals and debt. The proposed project is likely to be commissioned by the financial year 2029-2030.
2.8 million sq ft space leased by Mindspace Business Parks REIT
Mindspace Business Parks REIT has informed that it has leased 2.8 million sq ft in the last quarter. As per the firm, it achieved record leasing and its Net Operating Income rose by 13.2% to Rs 540 crore for the quarter.
K Raheja Corp-backed REIT has declared a distribution of Rs 392 crore for the quarter, driven by strong demand and rental growth, particularly in Hyderabad.
