AUDA floats tender worth Rs 2,200 crore for ring road project in Ahemdabad

 

Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA) has floated two tenders worth Rs 2,220 crore, to convert the 76km-long Sardar Patel Ring Road around Ahmedabad city into 6 lanes. Package 1 involves: Converting the 37 km stretch of the SP Ring Road in the eastern area into 6 lanes.

Package 2 involves: The conversion of the 39.25km stretch in the western part of the city. Further, the development of service roads has been planned, with the existing two-lane service road of 34km being upgraded to four lanes, and the existing three-lane service road of 15km being expanded to four lanes.

 

HMPL to develop solar project in Andhra Pradesh, to invest Rs 2,500 crore

 

Hazoor Multi Projects Limited (HMPL) has plans to develop a 500-megawatt solar project in Andhra Pradesh. The firm would invest Rs 2,500 crore for the project and submitted a proposal to the state government to set up the project in the Prakasam district over an area of 2,000 acres.

Andhra Pradesh state government has also asked the company to submit its detailed project report (DPR) for the project.

 

Mahindra Lifespaces bags order worth Rs 950 crore for redevelopment projects in Mumbai

 

The real estate arm of Mahindra Group, Mahindra Lifespaces, has bagged a deal worth Rs 950 crore to redevelop three housing societies. These projects would be located in Lokhandwala, Andheri area in Mumbai, and would be developed under Maharashtra’s cluster redevelopment policy.

As per the firm, the work involves demolishing and replacing old structures with modern, bigger buildings subject to various norms.

 

Order worth Rs 2.2 billion bagged by Engineers India

 

EPC company Engineers India (EIL) has bagged a contract worth Rs 2.22 billion from Hindustan Petroleum Corporation (HPCL). The contract is for project management consultancy (PMC) services for the Lube Modernization and bottom-upgradation (LMBU) project.

The order is to be completed in 36 months.

 

Order worth Rs 3,251 crore bagged by VA Tech Wabag

The Desalination and water treatment solutions provider, VA Tech Wabag, has bagged an order in consortium worth Rs 3,251 Crores. The order is for the construction of a 200 MLD independent sewage treatment plant in Riyadh, as part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.

As per updates, the project will be executed in partnership with Mutlaq Al-Ghowairi Contracting Company.

 

Kolte Patil signs pact for residential project in Pune

 

Real estate firm Kolte Patil Developers Ltd has signed a joint development agreement for a residential and mixed-use project in Wadgaon Khurd, in Pune. Spread over 22 acres the project has a saleable area of around 5 million square feet and a GDV (Gross Development of Value) of Rs 4,000 crore.

 

UP to develop 7 expressways, investment worth Rs 50,000 crore planned

 

The state government of Uttar Pradesh has planned to develop 7 new expressway projects in the next 2-3 years with an investment of  Rs 50,000 crore. As per updates, the combined length of these expressways is 866 km, which would connect about 30 districts.

Cleared by the UP cabinet,t the projects are to be undertaken by the UP Expressway Industrial Development Authority (UPEIDA).
