Dynamic Services & Security bags order for solar project in Andhra Pradesh
Dynamic Services & Security Ltd (DSSL) has bagged an order from South Central Railway (SCR) worth Rs 6,35,04,517.82 crore. The order involves providing services for the installation of rooftop solar plants of varying capacities across various locations within the Guntakal Division, including station buildings, service buildings, residential buildings, and LC gates in the RC, AD, DMM, DHNE, GY, RU, TPTY, PAK& HX Sections. The work will be completed in 4 months from the Letter of Acceptance (LoA) date.
Arkade to develop 3 projects in Mumbai, eyes revenue worth Rs 2150 crore
Real estate firm Arkade Developers is planning to develop 3 residential projects in Mumbai. The firm is eyeing a revenue of Rs 2,150 crore from the projects having a collective development area of 20,232 square meters. The projects are located at Andheri East, Malad West, and Borivali West.
As per the firm, they have a robust pipeline of over 8 upcoming projects across the MMR (Mumbai Metropolitan Region).
Gensol Engineering bags order for solar plant in Gujarat
Solar energy consultancy and EPC solutions provider Gensol Engineering Ltd has bagged an EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) contract for a 275MW solar PV plant in Gujarat. The plant will be located near the salt marsh of Rann of Kutch at the Khavda RE Solar Park.
This park is being developed by Adani Green Energy. Under the contract, Gensol Engineering would provide 3 years of operation and maintenance (O&M) services.
Northeast and West Bengal to get investment worth Rs 100 crore from Tyre manufacturing firms
Northeast and parts of West Bengal are set to get investments worth Rs 100 crore from Tyre manufacturers. This investment would be towards the skill development of growers and creating infrastructure for increasing the quality and production of natural rubber.
The initiative, part of Project INROAD, which aims to improve both the quantity and quality of rubber produced, is supported by major manufacturers like Apollo, CEAT, JK, and MRF, and implemented by the Rubber Board of India.
1.75 lakh sq ft space leased by WeWork India in Pune and Bengaluru
Office space solution provider WeWork India has announced the addition of 1.75 lakh square feet to its portfolio in Bengaluru and Pune. The firm plans to launch 2 new spaces, namely WeWork Manyata Mahogany in Bengaluru and WeWork GERA Commerzone in Pune.
Manyata Mahogany spans 90,500 square feet and houses about 1700 desks across two floors. The Pune center would be spread across 84,000 square feet hosting about 1,300 desks. This centre is in collaboration with real estate developer K Raheja Corp. Located near the World Trade Centre and Pune Airport.
Z-Morh Tunnel: PM Modi inaugurates the project in Jammu and Kashmir
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated the 6.5 Km long Z-Morh tunnel, also known as the Sonamarg tunnel, in Jammu and Kashmir. The tunnel is located in the Ganderbal district and would provide an all-weather route, enhancing connectivity between Srinagar and Sonamarg.
Sonamarg Tunnel project is around 12 km long and has been constructed at a cost of over Rs 2,700 crore and comprises the Sonamarg main tunnel of 6.4 km in length. It is a two-lane, bi-directional road structure built at an altitude of 8,650 feet above sea level.
Tata Group to set up medical college at IISc Bengaluru, pledges Rs 500 crore
Business major Tata Group has announced to establishment of the Tata IISc Medical School on the IISc campus in Bengaluru. Under the collaboration, Tata Group will contribute Rs 500 crore to support the establishment of the medical school, which is envisioned as a center of excellence in healthcare.
The proposed Medical School will focus on key medical specialties, including oncology, cardiology, neurology, nephrology, diabetes and metabolic disorders, infectious diseases, integrative medicine, and public health.
