  • Prestige Estates signs JDA for new residential project in Gururgram
    Bengaluru-based real estate developer Prestige Estates has signed a joint development agreement (JDA) with a landowner to build a new residential project in Gurugram, Haryana. According to the developer, the project will have a saleable area of about 2.8 million sq ft and an estimated revenue of Rs 5,600 crore. More details about the projects are awaited.
  • Inox Wind bags order worth Rs 755 crore from Indian Oil
    Clean energy company Inox Wind has secured an order worth Rs 755 crore from Indian Oil Corporation Ltd (IOCL). According to the company, the order is for a repeat 100 MW turnkey wind power project from the state-owned oil refiner. The scope of work includes end-to-end project execution, covering the supply of wind turbine generators, engineering, procurement and construction (EPC), project commissioning, and long-term operations and maintenance (O&M) services for 10 years.
  • QuantumX Global leases 2,727 sq ft office space in Mumbai
    IT and tech-based solutions provider QuantumX Global has leased 2,727 sq ft of office space in Mumbai. The space is leased for 5 years from actor Hrithik Roshan on the 14th floor of the E-Wing at Lotus Corporate Park, Graham Firth Steel Compound, in Goregaon East. The total rent for the lease period is Rs 4.84 crore, with a 5% annual escalation. 
  • Novonesis plans to setup new production facility in Maharashtra
    Danish biosolutions company Novonesis plans to expand its Patalganga site in Maharashtra and build a new enzyme production facility in the state. The company plans to invest Rs 6,600 crore in developing the new facility, which is expected to be fully operational by 2030. The facility will produce enzymes for industries including biofuels, household care, and food and beverages.
  • Siliguri Corridor: Central government approves over Rs 2,077 crore for multiple projects
    The central government has approved Rs 2,077.18 crore for a major infrastructure upgrade at Siliguri Corridor. The approval is for the 4-laning of 31.02-km NH-327 that links Bagdogra in West Bengal’s Darjeeling district with Galgalia in Bihar’s Kishanganj. 

    The work involves the development of three major bridges, a road overbridge, five elephant underpasses, and service roads on both sides of the highway. Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari announced the project and said that, located along the strategically vital Siliguri Corridor, the project will strengthen connectivity to Northeast India and improve access to Nepal, Bhutan and Bangladesh.
