Ongoing Projects in India

 

India, the world’s 4th largest economy with a whopping $ 4.1 trillion GDP, is witnessing development at a rapid pace. From road infrastructure to construction, aviation, and industrial complexes, there has been growth in each of the sectors. 

 

Data from Biltrax showed that over 1,400 construction projects were underway in India (as of March 2025). Some projects are touted as the big-ticket investment in the Vikasit Bharat vision of the government, and they include:

 

  • The Noida International Airport Project is planned to be Asia’s largest airport. Investment in the project is over Rs 5730 crore.

 

  • 1,047 km long Ganga Expressway project connecting east and west Uttar Pradesh: Estimated cost Rs 37350 crore

 

  • BHEL’s new township project in Bhopal, with an investment of over Rs 6,288 crore

 

These and many other small, medium, and large-scale projects are fueling the growth of the Indian economy, helping it cross the $ 5 trillion mark.
